1. Information We Collect
MyColorType is designed with your privacy at its core. We collect minimal information
necessary to provide our service:
- Photos you provide: When you perform a color analysis, photos are sent to our
secure processing server for AI analysis. These photos are processed in real-time and are
not stored on any server after the analysis is complete.
- Analysis results: Your color analysis results (season type, color palettes) are
stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to us.
- Purchase information: In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the
App Store. We do not collect or have access to your payment information.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or other personal identifiers
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or tracking data
- Contacts, calendars, or other device data
3. How We Process Your Photos
When you submit photos for analysis:
- Photos are securely transmitted over HTTPS to our processing server
- The AI model analyzes the photos to determine your color type
- Analysis results are returned to your device
- Photos are immediately discarded — they are not saved, cached, or stored on any
server
- We use Google's Gemini AI for processing. Photos are subject to Google's Privacy Policy during
the brief processing window
4. Data Storage
All app data, including your analysis history and preferences, is stored locally on your
device using Apple's standard storage mechanisms. This data is:
- Never transmitted to our servers
- Removed when you delete the app
- Protected by your device's built-in security
5. Third-Party Services
MyColorType uses the following third-party services:
- Google Gemini AI: For photo analysis processing. Photos are processed in real-time
and are not retained by Google beyond the processing window. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Apple StoreKit: For in-app purchase processing. Handled entirely by Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
We do not use any advertising SDKs, analytics frameworks, or tracking tools.
6. Children's Privacy
MyColorType is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any personal
information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please
contact us.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed through our service:
- All data transmission uses industry-standard HTTPS encryption
- No personal data is stored on our servers
- Our processing server acts as a secure proxy, not a data store
8. Your Rights
Since we do not collect or store personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete on
our end. Your analysis history can be deleted directly within the app at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through
the app or on this page. The "Effective Date" at the top reflects the most recent update.
