How to Use TabCutter

📸 Step 1: Scan

Tap "Scan Receipt" and take a photo of your bill. TabCutter will automatically recognize the items and prices.

✏️ Step 2: Edit

Review the recognized items. You can edit names, prices, add missing items, or delete incorrect ones.

👥 Step 3: Add People

Add the people who are splitting the bill. Each person gets a unique color for easy identification.

👆 Step 4: Assign

Tap on people's icons to assign items. Use "Even Split" to divide everything equally, or assign items individually.

💰 Step 5: Tip & Share

Add a tip (preset or custom %), then view the summary and share it via WhatsApp, iMessage, or any other app.

Q: Does TabCutter need an internet connection?

A: No! Everything works 100% offline. OCR, calculations, and storage all happen on your device.

Q: Which currencies are supported?

A: TabCutter automatically detects $, €, and £ from your receipt. The correct symbol is displayed throughout the app.

A: Currently English and German receipts are supported with high accuracy.

Q: The scan didn't recognize all items. What can I do?

A: After scanning, you can manually add or edit any items on the edit screen. Tap the "+" button to add items that weren't detected.
