TabCutter does not collect any personal information. Specifically:
TabCutter uses your device's camera solely to scan receipts. Photos are processed entirely on your device using Apple's built-in Vision framework. Receipt images are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded or transmitted to any server.
All text recognition (OCR) and data processing happens locally on your iPhone. TabCutter uses:

All receipt data (scanned images, item names, prices, and split information) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is:
TabCutter does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. We use zero third-party SDKs.
TabCutter offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Unlimited Scans") to unlock unlimited receipt scanning. All purchases are processed securely through Apple's App Store via StoreKit. We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment information. Your purchase history is managed entirely by Apple.
TabCutter does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since the app does not collect any data at all, it is safe for users of all ages.
TabCutter includes a share function that generates a text summary of your bill split. When you choose to share, your device's standard share sheet is used. We have no control over and no access to what you share or with whom.
If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Since we do not collect any data, significant changes are unlikely.
